The 3rd Eurasian Humanitarian Forum on Culture and Folk Art under the auspices of UNESCO will be held in Ufa from September 21 to 23.
The Ufa Congress Hall will be a venue of the forum. The Organizing Committee is instructed to develop a forum program and an action plan.
The forum will be held within the framework of measures to implement a protocol of the Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov’s meeting with the heads of constituent entities of the Russian Federation on issues of Eurasian humanitarian cooperation and preparations for the holding of the World Folklore Festival in Bashkortostan in 2020.
In July 2017, the 2nd Eurasian Humanitarian Forum was held in Ufa. It was devoted to the issues of vocational education, including the priority tasks of training workers for advanced technology. The 1st Eurasian Humanitarian Forum on the development of intercultural dialogue and cooperation was conducted in the capital of Bashkortostan in May 2016. Ufa became the first city in Russia to be a member of UNESCO's global network of learning cities. 83 schools have a status of "UNESCO Associated School" in the republic. Bashkortostan together with the Russian Commission for UNESCO implements a pilot project "The UNESCO/UNEVOC Network of Professional Education Centers", which supports the training of qualified workforce in the republic and regions of Russia.IA BASHINFORM
