Ufa will publish translations of works of world literature into the Bashkir language. The publication will include books "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll, "Tim Thaler, or Sold laughter" by James Crows and Arabian Nights tales from A Thousand and One Nights.
Books is being prepared for publication; the publishing house is "Inesh". Project editor is Bashkir writer Gulsira Gizzatullina. The translation is performed by the writers and translators Guzal Sitdikova and Farzana Akbulatova. The decoration of the books was made by Arthur Vasilov, illustrations for A Thousand and One Nights were drawn by artist Chulpan Bilalova.
The circulation of each item is 3 thousand copies, the total circulation is 9 thousand copies. It will be fully sent to the library of the region, said the editor-in-chief of the publishing house "Inesh" Alexey Fenin.
The first book will be published in August, by the end of the year all three will be published.
The project of the Foundation for the promotion of artistic creativity "Heritage of fine arts" received a grant from the Head of Bashkortostan for the preservation and development of state languages and languages of the Republic in the amount of 4 million rubles.
Thanks to the financial support of the grant of the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan in 2019 there will be modern language resources, audio books, animated films, fairy tales, festivals, cultural and educational events will be held. The total amount of grant support is more than 72 million rubles.
