International Mother Language Day in Novoschool
February 21 is the International Mother Language Day according to the UNESCO calendar. Many interesting events of different formats are held all over the world on this day. Novoschool pupils got involved too.
It is already a tradition in this school to conduct a quiz in English "What I know about the Bashkir language". By doing this, we want to draw attention to the problem of learning native languages. The quiz includes knowledge of the Bashkir alphabet, names of days of the week, months, numerals, the number of people who speak the Bashkir language in our country and in the world.
As part of the school marathon "Relay of Cultures", our primary school students held master classes on folk crafts and decorative and applied arts "NOVOcelye". The children presented the works of the Russian, Bashkir, Kumyk and Armenian peoples. Also, the school students invited their peers from UNESCO Associated Schools of the Republic of Bashkortostan to a meeting in the format of an intellectual game "How? What for? Why?" on the topic "Ethnic traditions and customs of the peoples of Russia." The game was difficult, interesting, and informative. Congratulations to the winners-the team from the pedagogical college of M. Akmulla State Pedagogical University of Bashkortostan!
Summing up the results of the marathon "Relay of Cultures", we say: "We all learn and grow. In discoveries, the world is known!».
